Welcome to our family surf camp in the beautiful area of Porto in Portugal!

Here the love for surfing is combined with a premium family holiday for every age and level.

Being parents ourselves, we know what families need in their holidays! Therefore a few important things are included in your stay:

We prepare healthy, nutritious and child-friendly continental breakfast for all families in the morning and on five days per week we serve you fresh dinner made from local produce. We will suit the needs of all kinds of diets!
We provide a nanny who takes care of the children on the beach while the parents join the surf or yoga lessons, allowing every family member to enjoy their preferred activities without having to keep an eye on the kids. The surfboards and wetsuits for the families are also included in the price and are free to use outside the surf lessons.

We offer 1-, 3- or 5-day surf courses consisting of 1.5 to 2 hours per day for children and adults of all surf levels. The children are taught in groups with a maximum of 5 participants, the adult groups have a maximum capacity of 8 students. In the lessons, we are not only teaching the students the basics of surfing but also water safety and surf theory, bringing you a fun, yet educational holiday.
On top, we offer a 4-day yoga course for all adults who want to spend some time working with their mind, body and spirit, whether it’s to stretch the muscles after a surf or to relax as much as possible.

The camp is located on the Orbitur Rio Alto campsite near Póvoa de Varzim, a calm area North of Porto, surrounded by agriculture and empty, long beaches. The four-star campsite, located right on the beach, offers a family friendly environment with a swimming pool, playground, restaurant and a little shop. And all directly next to one of the best golf courses Portugal has to offer!

On the Family Camp, you find a big communal area with hammocks, games for the kids and a kitchen tent where we prepare healthy, nutritious breakfast and dinner for you. The sanitary block with toilets and warm showers as well as wash basins is located right next to the camp for easy access even for small children.

Every family sleeps in a spacious 6m wide x 3.5m high tipi tent. The tents are equipped with a double bed and two single beds, all with comfortable mattresses, bedding and bed linen. Additionally, you’ll find enough storage for all of your clothes, a table, chairs, electricity and lights. Of course, we also provide cooking and eating utensils, so you don’t need to carry any extra luggage with you. Families bigger than four or families with older children also have the option to extend their living space with an extra mini tipi with two additional beds!
