The traditional Berber and fishing village of Tamraght is peacefully situated on a hill on the Moroccan Atlantic coast, about 15 kilometres away from the next largest town Agadir and 5 kilometres away from the actual surfing stronghold Taghazout - which is now completely overcrowded by surf enthusiasts from all over the world due to its international fame. During your surfing holiday we prefer to accommodate you in a quiet and authentic North African atmosphere in Tamraght, so that you can really enjoy your time in Morocco and experience a piece of coast that still has charming small town life to offer.
Surfhouse
Our typical accommodation in Tamraght has comfortable bedrooms for a total of 25 people and is furnished in Moroccan flair with a pleasant modern touch. All single, double and shared rooms are en-suite and spacious enough for real relaxation during your holiday. From the house's three terraces you have a truly stunning view of Taghazout Bay, Devil's Rock, Panorama Beach and even Anchor Point - places that are particularly beautiful to look at at sunset and which you will certainly get to know when visiting us in Morocco! In the neighborhood of the house there are also many cosy restaurants and small shops, all within walking distance.
Catering
A small kitchen team is responsible for the catering of the house guests, which pays attention to a varied and balanced menu. With fresh food and regional products, the chef conjures up typical local delicacies every day to make you fit for an active surf holiday. Each day begins with a refreshing breakfast, which includes freshly brewed coffee, breakfast eggs, fruit and yoghurt. At lunchtime, packed lunches with homemade sandwiches are provided, so that you can have a small picnic on the beach between classes. In the evening there is a warm dinner together in the surfhouse. In case of vegetarian lifestyle or food intolerances, we of course provide an alternative menu plan. When you make your reservation, make us aware of your preferences with a short note and simply let us know briefly in the kitchen when you arrive at the camp.
Surf course
In our camp in Morocco there is a beginner as well as an advanced course, so that every guest gets the best possible coaching. In the waves on the Moroccan coast everyone can learn to surf and studisurf promises a lot of fun and action! The surf spots on the beaches of the coastline are close to our house in Tamraght and within walking distance. A small shuttle will take all course participants to distant spots, so you can sit back and relax and let our local team take care of the organisation. Quality and safety are our top priorities when it comes to surf courses, so all our instructors have internationally recognised surf licences and years of experience as trained surf coaches. And because not all of us have a quality wetsuit or even a whole surfboard lying around at home, all materials are included in the course.
